Mezcal Finished single malt

Andalusia Whiskey Co.

The base is Andalusia Whiskey Co. Triple Distilled Single Malt. A 100% malted barley distilled three times, similar to an Irish Single Malt. Aged 28 months in used oak and finished 6 months in a used mezcal barrel.

If you aren’t familiar with Mezcal it is a distilled alcoholic beverage made from any type of agave. The word mezcal comes from Nahuatl mexcalli [meʃˈkalːi], which means "oven-cooked agave", from metl [met͡ɬ] and ixcalli [iʃˈkalːi].[2] Traditionally the word "mezcal" has been used generally in Mexico for all agave spirits.

On the nose you'll find notes of shortbread, biscuits and a whisper of agave with sugar cookie, butter toffee, and pear on the palate with a long, silky touch of Mezcal smoke on the finish.⁣

Available at Andalusia Whiskey Co. Tasting room located in Blanco, Texas.
