Ingredients.

How to make the chicken nuggets.

You will need a cutting board, knife, three mixing bowls, and a deep fryer to start.

Step 1.

Cut the chicken into nuggets.

Step 2.

Make binding liquid and breading.

The binding liquid.

Beat the two eggs and a cup of milk together in the first bowl.

The breading.

Combine the dry ingredients in the second bowl and mix well.

Step 3.

Do this step with a few pieces of chicken at a time. With each batch, dip the chicken into the binding liquid and drain off excess. Then dredge in the breading mix to coat each piece of chicken and place in the third bowl. Repeat this process until all nuggets get coated.

Step 4.

Heat your deep fryer to 350 degrees. You need enough oil to cover the nuggets while frying. Place the chicken in the frying basket and fry for 5 minutes. The size of your deep fryer will determine how many pieces you can fry at once.

Step 5.

Let cool and eat.

According to my teenage kids and their friends, these chicken nuggets are better than Chick-fil-A.

Overall this is an easy recipe for good fried chicken. The prep is a little messy and takes some time, but nothing is complicated. It creates a remarkable flavor that I bet will be tasty on other things; on my list are onion rings and fried pork chops.
